A Decade of Progress

Since Terenure College Rugby Football Club secured its tenure in Lakelands in  2012, there has been a history and culture of continuous progress in Lakelands both on and off the pitch. We have built a strong community club from minis and youths, with a special emphasis on girls and disability teams through to our elite adult teams winning elite Leinster and All Ireland competitions and producing a host of representative players for Leinster and National 

 Developments over the last decade

Over the past decade the Development Committee has been involved in the following projects:


Agreement with the Carmelites to secure the future of Terenure RFC in our current location. 


Installation of our 4G All Weather Pitch. 

Installation of full match flood lighting on both our AWP and on our grass pitch. 

Installation of 2 multipurpose changing facilities – suitable for all users in the club.      


Renovation and Expansion of multipurpose function Room 


Installation of irrigation system on our main grass pitch and re-surfacing of Car Park

Greenlea Road Ball Netting Replacement.

The above works cost in excess of €1.4m, which was funded was funded through Grants, Bank, IRFU & member loans as well as fund raising from members.
