FAQ’s
- How old does my child have to be to play rugby?
Typically children are 5 when they start rugby, but no two children are the same. Many children with older siblings are used to the rough and tumble of daily life and can be ready to begin rugby earlier. We would be happy to help you, so drop down to the club on a Sunday morning and we can let you know if they’re ready.
- When is the registration period?
The season begins in September and the registration period typically lasts the full month. However, we welcome new members throughout the season and are always looking to grow our family, so drop into the club anytime and we can get you started.
- How much are the registration fees?
Registration fees vary depending on category of membership. The following are some of the categories available;
U20s €100
Student €100
Adult €250
Mini €200
Mini Family (more than one child) €275
Club Member €125
- How can I register my child?
We accept registration in our office over the phone or online. In addition we welcome registration in person on a Sunday morning. Please click here for online registration or contact the office at office@tcrfc.ie for more information.
- What paperwork do I need to register my child to play rugby?
No personal paperwork is required. All the information we require is on the simple registration form provided including typical information about you and your child. We take our GDPR responsibilities very seriously, and all the information you share with us is held securely as required under law.
