This is our first ever AIL Final since the league was established in 1990, so we thought it best to put together

OUR BEGINNERS GUIDE TO AN AIL FINAL

and put all the detail in one place. This page will be updated with more information as we get closer to the big day – make sure and check back regularly between now and Sunday afternoon.

The Basics

Match Details (As if you didn’t know!)

What: Energia AIL Men’s Division 1A Final

Who: Clontarf FC v Terenure College RFC

When: Sunday 1st May – KO 3pm (Please aim to be there by 2:30pm!)

Where: Aviva Stadium, Lansdowne Rd

How:

Tickets are now available from Ticketmaster for the Final. The tickets are, by default, for the West Stand but as it is unallocated seating, make sure and get over to the Club side in the East stand.
Just make your way towards the Purple, Black and White…

Click the button below to visit TICKETMASTER and buy your ticket

Getting There

Four Double Decker Buses (about 300 seats!) are leaving Fortfield Road, from right outside the school swimming pool gates. They will be promptly departing for Lansdowne at 1:15pm. Seats are unreserved and offered on a first come first served basis. When the bus is full, that’s it! Please retain your ticket for the return journey. No ticket, no return trip and you’re walking!

Otherwise make your own way there and we’ll see you in the ground.

Where To Go Inside The Aviva?
We have agreed with Clontarf that we will take the East Lower Stand (south half) after entry to the ground. Trust us, you will see the colours!

Entrance on Sunday will be through Gates B (West Stand) and Gate O (East Stand).

All Terenure College Supporters please use Gate O (what your ticket says doesn’t matter!). Club supporters will be sitting on the South half of the East Stand. Please try and make it to the ground and be in the stand by 2:30pm. It’s going to be a special atmosphere!

Also there will be two bars open, one on the West Stand and one on the East Stand.

What To Wear?
Our Colours. It’s as simple as that! Purple, Black and White Jerseys, Hats, Scarves or whatever you can come up with. We want to ‘paint’ our stand in club colours. Use your imagination! We’ll be looking out for the best outfits in Club colours and remember, you might get on the telly!!
Club Shop will be open tomorrow between 12:00 and 1:00 for those who wish to get some Purple, White and Black ‘Nure Couture’ before the game on Sunday.

Tune In If you can’t make it – LIVE STREAM.
The match will be screened on TG4 with coverage beginning at 2:45, 15 mins before kick off for those few who can’t make it to the Aviva. The match will also be streamed so can be viewed on your phone, tablet or SmartTV. Simply download the appropriate App for your device by clicking on the relevant link below.

Incidentally, for members stuck in Marbella, The Hogan Stand pub in San Pedro Alcantara will be showing the game live on Sunday too. Thanks to Chips for the heads up on that one. We are reliably informed that the ‘Leinster House’ pub in Alvor, Portugal will be showing the match on Sunday too. So thats Soain and Portugal covered.
