CALLING ALL MINI and Tigers !
Following the popularity and terrific entries received in the Christmas 2020 Club Art Competition, it’s back!
It is only a few short days before Santa arrives to the Club on December 19th and to our homes on Christmas Eve. To keep all our rugby players busy in the lead up to his arrival, we need you to get out your paints, markers or crayons and get busy, because it’s time for the 2021 Christmas Art Competition for our Tigers, Minis and Youth players.
Just like last year, the competition is open to all age categories and there will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize in each age group. There are three pictures to choose from and we want you to make them as colourful as possible.
Simply click on the picture you like best, get Mum or Dad to download it, print it out and then you can get to work. When its finished, pop it into an envelope, bring it to Sunday morning training and hand it in to the Club (or directly Shane Mallon)
Closing Date for entries is Sunday December 19th (when Santa visits the Club) so get to work!
Once again, we have assembled the very best judging panel for this competition so do your best and make sure your picture is something really special. A very special thanks to our Club President, Marty Doyle, our Club Captain, Stephen O’Neill and the brilliant artist Joanne Murphy for lending their time to do the judging.
As mentioned we will have three prizes in each age group and we will also be displaying the winning entries here on the website and telling everybody about the winners in the Club newsletter in the New Year.
What to do
- Choose the picture you want to colour.
- Click on it.
- Print it out on an A4 page.
- Go mad colouring and painting with paint, crayons, markers or whatever you like!
- Let it dry!
- Get Mum or Dad to write your NAME, AGE and CONTACT NUMBER on your entry! Really IMPORTANT!
- Bring it to your Sunday morning rugby training session.
- Hand it to your coach (or Shane Mallon) when you get to the Club.
The judges will adjudicate over the Christmas break and we will announce winners and award First Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize in each category in the New Year.
If you are not in you can’t win and judges decision is final.
