Name: Oisín Heffernan
Currently Residing: Nottingham, England
Current Rugby Team: Nottingham Rugby
Former clubs: Connemara RFC, Leinster Rugby, Terenure RFC.
Position: Tighthead Prop
Years playing in Terenure: 2014 – 2018
How you ended up in current club: Got let go by the Leinster Academy, and an opportunity came up over the pond with Nottingham Rugby in the English Championship.
Favourite Terenure RFC team mate: To hard to pick one, Everyone that I’ve been in “37” with.
Best players played with: Eoin Joyce, Jake Swaine, Cathal Deans, Harrison Brewer & The O’Neill Clan.
Most annoying team mate: Dukey loved a yellow which was annoying! I loved a chat also to the Ref which I bet was annoying for everyone.
Best Terenure memories: One of my very first games for Nure against St.Marys at Templeville road. The place was electric, and we got the win also which was a bonus for my first derby against Marys.
Current Job: Playing rugby with Nottingham Rugby
Best of Luck to the Skip Stevie and VC Harrison, and all of the squad and coaching staff next year when rugby gets going again! Looking forward to getting over to the Lakelands next season for a game and joining the supporters on the side.
