Club President
2023/24
Paul Crossan
Dear Members and Friends of Terenure College RFC
It is my great honour to be President in this historic year as we have claimed our first AIL title.
Congratulations to Harrison Brewer all the squad as well as Sean Skehan and his fellow coaches on reaching this historic milestone. Now all we have to do is defend it!
Our Club is more than the Senior team, and I hope that the season 2023-24 is a good one for our Junior, Youth, Mini, Girls and Tiger teams. I want to thank all the coaches involved here too for their countless dedication.
Our Management Committee continues to run the Club effectively and I want to thank our Chairman Paul Candon, Hon Secretary Aoife O’Grady and all the Committee members for their continued hard work.
I wish to sincerely thank Conal Curran for all his work as Club Treasurer over the past number of years and wish Paul Haycock Jnr the best of luck in his incoming role.
Tom Moloney is stepping down as a trustee and I wish him all the best in the future. I hope we can still rely on his experience in so many areas of our Club. I welcome Paul Hennebry as incoming trustee and wish him every success.
I want to thank all our other committees and volunteers who give their time selflessly and without whom our Club would not function. We always need new people to step in so don’t be shy.
Finally, a big thank you to MJ Flood, Sherry Fitzgerald, Grant Thornton and all who support our match day lunches, hoardings and programme advertisements, you are an essential part of this Club and I want to thank you for your continued support.
I welcome all visitors to Terenure for what promises to be an exciting season and I look forward to sharing some of our renowned Lakelands hospitality with you all.
