IRFU Return To Rugby Guidelines For Clubs

 

Contact Stage Guidelines

Clubs who have completed the COVID-19 Safety Planning stage of the IRFU’s Summary Roadmap may proceed to the Contact Stage from July 20th.
Update guidelines are now available for this stage, which can be accessed at https://bit.ly/Contact-Stage.
The purpose of these guidelines is help clubs mitigate against injury prevention after a prolonged period of restricted training while maintaining a safe and responsible approach to COVID-19 risk management. A graduated return to contact is central to this approach.

The IRFU have announced their latest training, education & engagement opportunity for volunteer coaches and managers. This T.E.E. Panel Discussion will cover the on-field elements of #ReturnToRugby with a focus on injury prevention and a phased return to training.

Many clubs and schools are resuming rugby after an extended period without any form of rugby training or rugby movement. This event will address solutions with a mix of expert-led panel discussions, practical examples and presentations.
