Youth & Mini Rugby
Mini Rugby in Terenure College RFC
Minis Rugby in Terenure College RFC is a well-established institution and we celebrated our 30th year in existence in 2020.
We are delighted to have such a prestigious Minis & Youth Sponsor as Grant Thornton.
The Club prides itself in being a fully inclusive club.
Our minis from Under 6s to Under 12s are made up of boys and girls from both the local community and from further afield. You don’t have to be living in the community to be a mins and youth rugby player in the club !
The season runs from start of Sept to end of April and the club welcomes all new players at anytime throughout the season.
Similarly our youth boys and girls teams, from U13s on also welcome any new players.
Mini & Youths Rugby in the club is focused on ensuring that the players have fun, make friends and enjoy themselves in a safe, inclusive and structured environment.

At Terenure College RFC we strive to give the players a firm foundation in the basic skills of the game, preparing them carefully for future competitive rugby at youth level. We always put the welfare and safety of the child first at Terenure College Rugby Football Club.
We do not stream in mini rugby at Terenure College RFC and we fully abide by the IRFU guidelines.
Our minis act as ballboys/girls, mascots for our first team and our U9s and U12s have a tour every year. Our U12s play the very best in Cardiff Schools every year and we also celebrate Christmas with a visit from Santa to the club for our minis rugby players.
We come together as a group kids/coaches and parents at various times in the season for AIL matches, Six Nations, European and World Cup matches. The sense of club and community when the Clubhouse is full of players, parents, coaches and kids watching a game is truly special and we believe unique.
Welcome to the best community rugby club in the World.

YOUTH Rugby in Terenure RFC
Boys and Girls Youth Rugby in Terenure College RFC is extremely vibrant. Youth Rugby starts at under 13s and finishes at Under 18s where the players then go on to join our Under 20s. Youth Rugby is the first chance for our players to play competitive rugby and there are games at the start of the year to grade each Leinster Clubs team and place them in a league relevant to their ability.
We still retain the same ethos as we do at minis with players welfare and safety and enjoyment being paramount and our top priority.
Every year our own boys Under 13s host a European Youth Competition, were we attract teams from all over Europe. The tournament has grown into the biggest Under 13 Rugby Tournament in Europe.
We welcome all to Terenure College Rugby Football Club, especially players from non-rugby schools.
This season we are running three boys teams at Under 13s, a boys Under 14s team and a boys Under 15s team.
This season we are running an U14 girls team, an U16 girls team and an u18 girls team.
If you are thinking of taking up rugby or starting back again, Terenure College RFC is the club for you.
